Today I dumped and added the 2 PAL chips from Taito’s Growl.
Both PALs were unlocked and I have converted them to GAL and tested them.
Both sets are added.
Thanks to muddymusic for loaning me the PCB

Following a bizarre occurrence that happened to caius when trying to dump the IOB2 PAL from the World Warrior board that uses it, I set about looking for one myself. Help came in the form of rcantor77 from the JAMMA+ forum who very kindly brought it to Play Expo for me to dump.
All went well and caius has now tested it.
Not a commonly used chip but it is one of the few CPS1 PALs left to dump.
Thanks very much to rcantor77 for supplying the chip, caius for testing and Charles MacDonald once again for his excellent PAL dumping hardware as without it my archive of PAL dumps would not exist.
I was contacted recently about the PAL found on a Willow B board. I did not have this but it was in MAME.
I converted it back to JED for the guy and he tested it so I have added it to the list.
Thanks to Silvio for testing
The people that brought us the CPS3 super BIOS/SH2 mod are currently working on converting Atomiswave games to run on a NAOMI.
This morning I thought id give the Demolishfist game a try and netbooted it up.

Ive never played this game before and probably never would have if not for this work and I am very impressed.
I got to level 2 and couldn’t see anything wrong with gameplay or graphics. There may be some issues but I lack any knowledge on the game so I really don’t know.
I’m looking forward to seeing more of this project and hopefully Hokuto No Ken will be soon. It was the only reason I bought an Atomiswave (sadly needed to be sold on) and really miss the game.
A little while back muddymusic lent me his PCE-JAMMA unit to look at.
The whole saga can be found here.

There is pretty much no documentation available out there for this unit but my friend Tormod seems to have quite a bit. Here is a scan of the manual he has for it

After tracing the hardware out and various trials and a fair amount of input from the arcade community we came up with this:

Its not a bad system really and it works well for what it is
